Explore Sapelo Island, learn about a Civil War soldier's life on Amelia Island and cruise by Cumberland Island. Spend the day touring the Gullah Geechee community on Sapelo and have a home cooked buffet lunch at a resident's home in Hog Hammock. A costumed garrison guide will give a private tour of Fort Clinch State Park on Amelia Island and share its strategic importance during the Civil War. Board a private charter for a peaceful cruise up Beach Creek for a close up look of the natural habitat of Cumberland Island National Seashore.

Be a summer camper again with professional award winning Andy Offutt Irwin as your camp counselor.

Enjoy a Hoe Down Square Dance, learning about sharks and some "hairless creatures", take a shrimp boat cruise; have story time under the star; a sing a long around the campfire and, of course, make s'mores! Plenty of time for you to enjoy ocean activities and the history of St. Simons Island as you wish.

Mission u, the mission education event of the South Georgia Conference, will be held July 11 through July 14, 2019, at Epworth By The Sea on St. Simons Island. The annual event is co-sponsored by the conference United Methodist Women and the conference Outreach team. This year's theme is Radical Discipleship: Then & Now.

FCA: Golf Camp

July 14-18, 2019

We are launching the all new -- St. SIMONS ISLAND GOLF CAMP!
We are taking a year off from Sea Island while they make major renovations on the Plantation course and the huge driving range. We plan on being back there next year. This year we will play the King & Prince Golf Course on St. Simons, Oleander & Pine Lakes Courses on Jekyll Island.

St. Simons Island Golf Camp is for both novice and excellent golfer. The camp will be flighted into four groups according to the level of play campers have achieved. Our goals are to help each camper become a better golfer but, even greater than that, will be our desire to see each camper grow stronger in their walk with the Lord.
